Everyones Turning Point is unique. Its the moment when they realise theyve made a small, but important, step forward. Very often, that small step is the start of something bigger. But only when the right support, advice and services are in place. And thats where you come in.

Countisbury House is a residential rehabilitation service for up to sixteen men with complex mental health needs. Delivered in state-of-the-art accommodation, this unique model of high quality, intensive support will shape the way in which community mental health services are provided in the future.

A joint venture between Turning Point and Grwp Gwalia, who have refurbished and own the property, the unit consists of sixteen self-contained bedsits, together with a number of communal facilities. Support staff will be on site 24 hours a day and the service will be registered with CSSIW. The emphasis will be on supporting the transition of clients into more independent living through a range of structured activities, as well as managing their mental and physical health within a recovery focussed programme.

With the service due to open on 23 July 2012, we are now looking to recruit a part time Administrator to join us. Youll play a key role in the smooth and effective running of the service by providing administrative support to our team. Its a wide-ranging remit, in which youll not only undertake filing and faxing, youll also be responsible for petty cash, type letters and deal with telephone enquiries. Reception duties will also be required as part of this role.

Currently working in a similar administrative/reception role, you will have excellent telephone and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to use your own initiative. A confident user of Microsoft office systems, youre able to manage your own time effectively and deal with competing deadlines and priorities. It is also important that you have previous experience of managing petty cash. Always calm under pressure, you must be non-judgemental, with a strong commitment to customer service and real attention to detail.

Working 22 hours a week between Monday and Friday, actual days and hours will be negotiable.
