Customer Advisor
We are looking for a proficient and patient person with excellent customer service skills to support and advise customers in finding the right solution for them through the provision of detailed desk-based assessment of applications for financial assistance.
Responsibilities include:
Provision of accurate up-front advice to customers on their options and the evidence they may be required to provide in addition to a completed application form.Working within parameters of policy, work in partnership with the customer to agree the solutions meets their core needs.Conduct required eligibility checks to ensure the customer qualifies for financial assistance.Support the customer with the provision of verification documents to aid the process and minimise delay and inconvenience.Meet and exceed customer expectations, ensuring communications are clear, accurate, and concise and focussed on ensuring customers are kept well informed about the process and their progress.Process applications quickly and efficient in line with operating guidelines and principles.Handle customer complains, queries, appeals and reviews, liaising with management as necessary.Essential Qualifications and skills
Educated to GCSE/NVQ 3 or equivalent including Maths and EnglishOffice experience in a customer focussed environmentRegular contact with customers via the telephoneA high level of sensitivity, tact, judgement and integrityHigh degree of attention for detail and ability to see beyond face valueAbility to organise your own workload, assess priorities and use initiative to deliver the best outcomesExcellent communication skills both written and verbal
