Mobile Engineer (Mechancial)
Job purpose
Reporting directly into M&E manager, the post holder will support the Site based Delivery teams in the provision of a high quality service. To ensure upkeep of designated areas by carrying out general and specific duties as directed. The role will cover 5 schools and 2 leisure centres across Leeds. The successful candidate will need to complete a CRB upon appointment.
Responsibilities
Undertake all maintenance tasks to maintain and improve the service provision throughout the contract areaTo have acquired elements of other skills which will enable them to work flexibly across trades.Liaise with SFOs during service calls on Planned and Reactive service visitsBe flexible to assist or carryout tasks aliened to other trades Complete all maintenance work sheets and return for updating Planned Maintenance Programme database. Maintain accurate estates records and plant history.Form part of on-call roster to provide 24 hours response cover Maintain adherence to the Client code/rules of conductParticipate in the Health and Safety Policy of the company and report to the Hard Services Report to M&E Manager / SFO any dangers; hazards or other defects/issues that may be encountereCarry out P.P.M., service, test, diagnose, repair and calibrate advanced electrical and mechanical installations, plant and equipment.The post holder will be required to participate on an on-call rota and being available for reasonable overtime as needed.Attend and participate actively in the training provided either on or off site, or through approved bodies through Line Management
Knowledge skills & experience
Mechanical Qualification or eqivalent Gas safe qualification (Commercial) All categories. Working knowledge of Health and Safety and safe systems of work Previous relevant experience desirable Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes Knowledge of safe working practice on electrical services Experience of other trades Knowledge of lone working requirements Experience of General Building Management Systems Risk Assessment and Method Statement trained Experience of servicing HVAC equipment Full Driving licence
