We are seeking two Project Technicians to join us within our Project and Engineering Department.

This is a unique role within an equally unique organisation. As part of a team, you will be responsible for drawing and modifying designs on CAD packages, ensuring that all work is completed to the relevant standards, codes of practice and regulations. The designs that you work on will be part of the modernisation programme and updating of Marine Aids to Navigation such as Lighthouses, Buoys and electronic Navigation systems. This is an interesting and varied role where your input will contribute to the safety of Mariners around our shores.

You will be working with engineers to produce engineering designs to satisfy the requirements of technical projects as well as carrying out site surveys to ensure the accuracy of information.

In addition, you will be required to produce project review documentation and to maintain a drawing register identifying current drawing status. Elements of Engineering Procurement will also be involved including the requisition of products and services in agreement with Engineers and Project Managers.

You will possess excellent IT skills (AutoCAD is essential, Inventor is desirable) as well as relevant engineering experience. Holding an ONC in an appropriate engineering discipline will also be required.
