Leasehold Income Officer
9 months Fixed-Term Contract
Providing Income Recovery and administration functions for the Leasehold Income Team, youll liaise with other sections within the department, as well as contractors and other departments to ensure that an excellent service is provided.Your role will also involve being the main point of contact for leaseholders, shared owners and other residents for payment of service charges and shared ownership rents, changes of circumstance, pre-sales enquiries and mortgage changes and RTB/RTA.
To succeed, you should have previous experience of income recovery or leasehold management with an RSL, local authority or in private practice and of delivering a customer orientated service within a housing environment. Youll also have knowledge of current housing law, debt recovery and best practice, in addition to welfare benefits, particularly housing benefits. Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to use Microsoft Office are also essential.
