Responsibilities

- To repair Accident Damaged vehicles using Thatcham recommended repair methods and relevant Health and safety measures back to pre accident condition.

- Complete own strip/fit and panel work as allocated in relation to job card, request parts and sign job card on completion.

- Responsible for completing work within agreed timescale and to a high standard.

- Responsible for ensuring work is carried out to an acceptable standard of quality and sign quality check sheet on completion.

- Achieves an ongoing high rate of productivity.

- Adheres to Blueprint and PAS125 procedures at all times.

- Ensure all tasks are carried out in compliance with Health and Safety guidelines and work areas are kept clean and tidy.

- Use PPE at all times and prepare bays after use.

- Works as a team to complete large jobs and assist colleagues where necessary to meet deadlines and targets.

- Ensure all parts are approved and ordered on dismantling.

- Assist in other departments when requested.

- Provides timely information and updates to team members, colleagues.

- Liaise with estimators and ensure relevant parts requisitions are signed off.

- Priorities any reworks

- Liaise with Team Leader regarding any difficult jobs or reworks

- Uses knowledge and experience relevant to own role.

- Communicates ideas openly using you said, we did.

- Experienced in stripping/fitting and associated repair of a wide range of vehicles.

- Understanding of technical principles and disciplines relevant to the role.

- Ability to work alone and as part of at team in a pressurised environment.

- Ability to prioritise work and complete it to a high standard, whilst adhering to stringent Health and Safety procedures

- Good communicator
