Degree or equivalent in Food Science or MicrobiologyQA experience in a food or beverage environmentHigh degree of technical/microbiological understanding across a range of food/beverage manufacturing operationsExcellent interpersonal skillsSelf confident strong communicator across all stakeholder groups internal and extermal

ROLE INFORMATION (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES):

Reduce the food safety risk by developing the Microbiology strategy for Food and Beverage and by leading the implementation of the Microbiology strategyMonitor the effectiveness of the micro proficiency scheme by working closely with sector laboratory and regional quality managersProvide support for aseptic line qualification as requiredProvide support for process thermal validation as requiredProvide insights and avice to ensure that the correct microbiological knowledge, standards and procedures are in pace across the European sector
