Everyones Turning Point is unique. Its the moment when they realise theyve made a small, but important, step forward. Very often, that small step is the start of something bigger. But only when the right support, advice and services are in place. And thats where you come in.

Countisbury House is a residential rehabilitation service for up to sixteen men with complex mental health needs. Delivered in state-of-the-art accommodation, this unique model of high quality, intensive support will shape the way in which community mental health services are provided in the future.

A joint venture between Turning Point and Grwp Gwalia, who have refurbished and own the property, the unit consists of sixteen self-contained bedsits, together with a number of communal facilities. Support staff will be on site 24 hours a day and the service will be registered with CSSIW. The emphasis will be on supporting the transition of clients into more independent living through a range of structured activities, as well as managing their mental and physical health within a recovery focussed programme.

With the service due to open on 23 July 2012, we are now looking to recruit a team of highly skilled Project Workers. On a day-to-day basis you will support the Manager and Team Leader in delivering high quality, person centred services, ensuring that they meet our statutory obligations. This will involve assisting in the preparation for all internal and external service audits and inspections. Responsible for maintaining quality standards, you will line manage a team of Support Workers and play a key role in the delivery of our person centred services.

With a background in a mental health setting and demonstrable experience of leading a team, you will ideally hold relevant qualifications such as an NVQ or Degree. Computer literate and with excellent communication skills, you will be non-judgemental, with a collaborative working style and the ability to thrive in a challenging and changing environment.

As a bank worker you will be offered shifts to cover any unexpected team absences and where extra cover is required, with the role offering a chance of full time/part time employment where vacancies arise.
