Cloud Infrastructure Consultant (Pre-Sales) - Permanent - Manchester - 35k to 50k + Benefits + Bonus.

The Cloud Infrastructure Consultantrole has a dual purpose with 50/50 split. Pre-sales activity is required in supporting Infrastructure based opportunities, including presentations, customer requirements gathering and technical proposal creation.

The Cloud Infrastructure Consultantrole then leads into consulting, including Solution Analysis, design and build activity, working closely with project managers to ensure effective solution delivery. Establishing Outsourcery as a trusted advisor is key.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Cloud Infrastructure Consultant will include, but not be limited to:

Delivery of Technical presentations to prospective customers, clearly outlining a value proposition, solution overview, benefits and strategic positioning.

Leading business and technical requirements gathering in business meetings to allow an accurate and commercially aware solution design to take place.

Organising and leading Customer workshops and work-streams, focused on solution analysis and design activity, including objective settings, schedules and delivery milestones.

Drilling into deep technical requirements and help customers to understand how cloud based solutions can help them meet these requirements.

The Person

In order to be considered for an interview for the Cloud Unified Communications Consultant vacancy, candidates should be able to display the following experience in a Pre-Sales / Business Consulting function:

Microsoft Core Infrastructure Solution Design & Deployment

oWorking knowledge of Active Directory

oDNS / SHCP, Security, Virtualisation

oExperience with ADFS

Microsoft Exchange Design & Deployment

Microsoft SharePoint Infrastructure Design & Deployment

Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 Infrastructure Design & Deployment

Networking Technologies Design

Pre-Sales engagements

You will also be able to understand and work closely with Project Managers to facilitate effective project delivery. A high level understanding of Project delivery methodologies is key as is the ability to shape project phases to align to these, including detailed reporting, where required.

When required, you will be hands-on with solution builds, including Microsoft Core Services (Active Directory/DNS etc.) and application builds. You will also be able to document and provide build guidance to other team members and facilitate effective customer handovers.
