As Deputy Practice Manager within this innovative GP practice you will learn all about managing a busy health centre through deputising for and supporting the Practice Manager.
As Customer Services lead you will managetheir experienced reception team, ensuringthey consistently deliver excellent service to all oftheir patients. You will work closely withthe Customer Services Coordinator to develop and implement a Marketing Plan, promotingthe practice'sservices and achieving increased numbers of registered patients.
The role will also take the lead on human resources for the practice, ensuring they remain a responsible, fair and up-to-date employer in their policies and employee contracts.
Horfield Health Centre is a large, friendly and progressive medical practice serving a population of 14,400 patients in north Bristol, under contract with the NHS, and with 38 employees and 9 Partners. They are an accredited Quality Practice Award (RCGP) organisation committed to service improvement and offer a wide range of services totheir local community.
For this Deputy Practice Manager/Customer Services role, you will be keen to learn, have excellent people management and decision-making skills as well as being tenacious and committed to the ethos of excellent customer service. Experience of managing people isessential as is a can-do attitude. Experience within human resources, marketing, a customer services environment or the NHS (including primary care) is desirable.
