Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit a talented experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join us in our success and to assist in driving our business forward.

Key Focus:

-Carry out preventative maintenance to all equipment and machines.

-Increase machine reliability.

-Work within a multi skilled team to ensure all breakdowns are covered in a fast response time.

-Ability to analyse, establish root cause and implement corrective action is essential.

-PLC programming.

-Participation in innovation projects and new product introductions.

-Involvement in control and instrumental upgrades.

-Working knowledge of current safety legislations relating to equipment.

To be a successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer in our business you will need:

-Mechanical/electrical engineering background relevant to a manufacturing environment.

-Experience in working with PLC controlled systems (Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens preferred).

-Electrical wiring and installation (17th Ed preferred).

-5 years experience of either machine fitting or maintenance engineering.

-Knowledge of plastic processing machinery (ideal).

-Strong organisational skills

-Ability to manage demanding situations and meet deadlines.

-Excellent communication skills.

-Self-motivated and the ability to work on own initiative.

-Teamwork, flexibility and mobility are essential pre-requisites.
