We are one of the UKs fastest growing Generator Specialist and are looking to expand our projects division in the South East Sector.
The company has depots throughout the UK and due to continual growth needs quality project engineers for this area.
The company design/install/commission and provide service for large solution based projects, and due tofurther projects won, and expansion plans, this has created the role for a Project Engineer to join our team.
Role Description:
The role of Project Engineer will be to assist both our Project and Technical Mangers; you will be required to oversee a number of live projects for design, installation and commissioning of various generator and auxiliary systems.
You will be working as an integral member of the projects department which provides the various projects with management, engineering CAD and commissioning resources. You will also be required to assist with initial design all the way through to project execution, commissioning to final handover.
Primary Functions:
Review of project requirements, commercially, contractually and technically.
Review design of generator systems and auxiliary systems connected with the generator package
Provide technical submission for generator systems for client approval
Provide time line and update for projects
To attend meetings both internally & externally on behalf of the company
Ensure adherence to company procedures
Organising necessary resources for the project team
Communicate with project team at all levels
Work with sub-contractors and suppliers
Attend FAT & SAT raise punch list when required
Assist with preparation of O&M manuals
Candidate:
We require someone with a recognised qualification in electrical/mechanical with project engineering experience.
Ideally the position would suit someone who is keen to further their experience in the power generator sector with guidance.
The project engineer will need to be customer focused, self-motivated and comfortable in liaising with customers, suppliers & sub-contractors; you will also be used to meeting tight deadlines.
