We are looking for a Housing Management Project Worker to support the provision of high quality housing and housing support services. This is a great opportunity to work for a leading provider of Young People's residential services in Solihull. You will liaise with statutory, voluntary and other key agencies and of course our clients alongside other Project Workers to provide effective guidance and support. You'll be responsible for providing a comprehensive arrears management and tenure service to clients. Producing Rent Letters, liaising with housing benefit departments to maintain clients rent accounts. You will maintain in house databases, to produce reports on service delivery against performance indicators.

You should have a strong understanding of aspects of housing management, including completing Defect Action, SWIMS and Housing Benefit. Experience of working in a social care or housing setting is required as the role demands a broad knowledge of the issues facing users of supported housing in order to fully support clients. With a sound knowledge of resources available in the community, you will possess excellent communication and administration skills as well as commitment and the ability to work under your own initiative.
