We are currently looking to recruit a MIS/SQL Developer on a 12 month fixed term contract to help support our IS team based at our office within the West Midlands.

The role will be responsible for the below tasks:

Design and code reports in a variety of formats

Write reports to a given specification

Investigate, analyse and provide solutions to reported faults for in-house and outsourced reports

Maintain and optimise various SQL Databases

Write and test reports using Qlikview

Participate in ad-hoc projects as required

We are seeking an individual who is organised, caring and passionate about Documentation and procedures. The candidate will need to be highly skilled with experience in the following:

Experience of T-SQL, SQL Server 2005 2008 This is essential

Knowledge of SSIS Packages and Stored Procedures

Knowledge of SQL Database Maintenance

Knowledge Of Qliktech Qlikview would be an advantageous

A Strong Team Member who is willing to work with others and be part of a team

Be able to work in an unsupervised manner and to deadlines

A strong appreciation of the importance of documentation and procedures

Analytical and reporting skills with excellent communication skills
