Project Facilitator

We are looking for a temporary Project Facilitator to join our engineering team to assist with some specific project work.You will have your own workload, working with the Shift Managers and the engineering team to deliver the objectives. Your role will be analyzing and quantifying the information, both in the format of data and through seeking opinions and then translate this information into a solution. You will be responsible for deploying the solution through the engineering team in the most practical format, which may involve producing a work schedule to ensure that the team are trained or updated in any new processes, deployment and training of any new equipment or tooling provided. This needs to be achieved in the most cost effective and resourceful way, achieving the maximum impact and driving continuous improvement at a delivery level.

You will therefore be required to have project experience. You should hold an engineering qualification of HND level or able to display equivalent experience, and have a sound engineering knowledge.You should have previous project and team facilitation experience within an engineering maintenance environment, good research and analytical skills, be able to work as part of a team and be able to demonstrate previous delivery. Experience of working in a Lean/6S environment is an advantage along with excellent IT skills, using a range of Microsoft applications. A good knowledge and working understanding of an ISO9001/OHSAS18001 environment is essential.

The position is full-time, working 37 hours per week for a period of 6/12 months.The hours of work are determined by the requirements of the projects and a high degree of flexibility is required.
