Position: Sales Executive Leisure and Hospitality

Location: Cardiff

Salary: 25k + bonus scheme and fully expensed car

My client is a national group of luxury hotels with high profile venues throughout the UK. They have a number of venues and hold events on behalf of both private parties and corporate accounts.

This field based role will involve a mixture of account management and new business. You will be responsible for creating your own appointments and managing the existing accounts within the business.

My client is looking for someone who has a strong background within accommodation, conferences and hotel reservations selling into the corporate, agency and leisure markets.

Responsibilities:

Cold calling

Account management of existing customer base

Pitching for new business

Appointment making

You will need:

Extensive knowledge of the hotel industry with a particular focus on the accommodation side of the business

Highly motivated to achieve in line with targets

High level relationship building skills

To be enthusiastic and driven

To be able to work well within a small team

Experience of selling into the corporate, agent and leisure market

You will currently be developing existing business and creating new opportunities within the hotel industry as a sales manager, events sales manager, events sales executive, events manager, event manager, sales executive, venue finder, conference sales executive, conference and events manager, area sales manager.
