The Role:
The Lead Business Analyst will follow established processes and provide leadership to bridge the relationship between Business and Infrastructure Units. Key aspects of the role include understanding the needs of the business units, assessing the impact of the required changes, capturing, analysing and documenting requirements in addition to supporting the communication, solution delivery and business implementation.
Core Tasks:
Dealing with multiple internal projects
Assisting the project manager by facilitating requirements, kick starting projects, workshops etc
Presenting ideas in the workshops and finding innovative ways to deliver projects
Understanding the requirements of the projects, the goal, scope and objectives
Conducting research and gathering detailed business requirements using a range of techniques
Working with the other Business Analysts on th e team to drive projects and meet deadlines
Organising sessions with the business to gather feedback
The Ideal Candidate:
Proven and extensive experience in Business Analysis
Background in IT Data & Telecoms, Voice and Managed Services is essential
Direct experience of working within a Scrum and Agile environment
Demonstrates knowledge, understanding and experience of the operating model of a Telecoms company i.e. DC, Networks, Products
Previous experience of IP based products, Unified Comms, Cloud, Managed Services and Data (Ethernet and Broadband).
Direct experience of planning, facilitating and managing workshops.
Demonstrate excellent verbal and written skills
Qualifications
Degree educated, or equivalent, preferably in a science discipline
ISEB Business Analysis Diploma (or equivalent) is imperative
UML, User Stories/Use Case certification is required
PRINCE2, ITIL and Agile Techniques would be a distinct advantage
