About the Role: Due to a recent increase in the workload and further projects looking likely there is a need for an experienced Design professional to run high profile projects ranging from 5m to 50m throughout the South West region. The position will involve working on a broad range of Design matter including both Pre and Post Contracts works, for Refurbishment and new build projects. Day to day Design Co-ordination of Design Teams and Design Information is essential.Appointed to act as the main point of contact for all Design Information, by the Main Contractor. You will be part of a team taking projects from pre-tender bid through to delivery on site and project conclusion.

You will report directly to the Regional Director and work alongside a commercial manager and senior contracts manager. The successful candidate will be part of the companys sustained growth in the Design division and there are a pipeline of projects in the South West area with 100 of turnover for 2012 already secured providing security during uncertain time across the industry. They are looking for candidates who are keen, competent and would be looking to progress their career forward. Requirements: You should have a degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related field or have experience of working within a trade.Experience in residential and commercial construction is preferable and also prior experience of working for reputable contractors is required. Ideal candidates will have experience of working within the role of Design Manager for a minimum of 2 years.
