Maintenance Engineer

Day position Monday to Friday

Experience Multi Skilled Engineer required to join the Engineering team of a manufacturing business with a key focus to strengthen the skill base and become an integral part of the Operations Team.

The role is broad based across both automated, semi automated and manual assembly equipment. The tasks will include problem solving on the shop floor, engineering design and implementation of solutions, innovation, continuous improvement projects, increasing machine reliability and at the same time have the ability to solve current day to day maintenance issues in the assembly area.

Skills profile:

Good understanding of all automated pneumatic machinery.Mechanical/electrical engineering background.Experience in working with PLC controlled systems (Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen Bradley preferred)Electrical wiring and installation (17th Ed preferred)Ability to analyse, establish root cause and implement corrective action is essential.Participation in innovation projects and new product introductions.Knowledge of compressors and control systems.Knowledge of health and safety and environmental standards within a pharmaceutical and food product manufacturing site.
