We are seeking to recruit a Fire Alarm & Detection Systems Commissioning Engineer for our South East based Fire Install Division. The objectives of this role are to commission fire alarms, PA/PAVA and disabled refuge systems to relevant BS Standards, undertake client training and handover of analogue addressable and conventional, fire detection systems, emergency lighting, HSSD, fixed extinguishing systems and nurse call systems within clients premises and any other related product.
In order to be considered you will be an approved electrician having served a minimum 3 year apprenticeship in electrical contracting or having achieved equivalent academic qualifications to City & Guilds or equivalent standard. You will also possess knowledge of all applicable current British standards and experience of programming and operating a wide range of analogue addressable control panels and the associated detection devices.
A good understanding of graphics and networking is also required and we seeking an individual who has an accomplished level of literacy, a methodical approach to problem solving and a valid driving license,as the role will involve travelling to and from customers premises across the South East region.
