Based in our offices in Bristol (Aztec West); we currently have an great opportunity for a Test Lead to work in an exciting part of the business that focuses on our Wrap Investment Platform Elevate where you will be expected to lead a team of Test professionals on a variety of challenging test projects and business as usual test activities.
The role
Your role with us will be vital as you will be expected to take responsibility for a team of test professionals (team of between 5 and 10) who work on the integration System Testing and UAT testing of our WRAP platform.
The core development of this platform is conducted by our 3rd party partners with whom you will work closely with. Your role will focus on a number of exciting web interface / web portal testing projects as we seek to improve our digital capability.
Reporting to the Test Manager you will be actively involved in a number of other projects such as production releases, defect resolution and business as usual activities in a test lead capacity.
Skills, knowledge and behaviour
Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:
Proven Test Lead experience Strong line management capability in coordinating others and allocating tasks appropriately Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Extensive experience in Software Testing Knowledge of automated testing tools (eg QTP / TFS) would be an advantage. Knowledge in developing and implementing a test strategy for reusable and scalable automated tests. ISEB Testing Foundation certificate preferred. A high level of methodical thinking and attention to detail. The ability to work independently without oversight when required. Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels. Experience of working within the Financial Services industry or related Investment product knowledge.What will you get from this role?
