The role and key responsibilities

To provide team leadership to the Network Services team responsible for the provision of all AXA Tech insourced technology. Operational responsibility for the in-sourced Network Services including but not restricted to the Data Centre Network, load balancing, proxy, WiFi and firewall infrastructure Project delivery for all Network Services related projects Delivery and tracking of Network Services input into KPI projects Resource management and prioritization of work for the team Remote management of team members Provide support to and delivery of Global Network Domain on strategic initiatives Management of maintenance contracts Advise and make recommendations on quality of service and infrastructure improvements Travel within UK and to Switzerland will be required for this role

Skills, knowledge and behaviour

Previous experience in technical team leadership or managementGood network technical skills including data centre, proxy, load balancing, firewall and WiFiExperience of complex network environmentExperience of Network operations and project deliveryStrong operational and delivery focus Ability to communicate ideas & solutions to audiences of all levels and nationalities, adapting style accordinglyAbility to liaise with 3rd party suppliers and customersAbility to understand business, commercial and technical roadmaps and strategiesAwareness and experience of International cultural differencesUnderstanding of AXA Tech's project life-cycle


Scope for impact

Responsible for Network availability for the Network in the regional datacentre and all technologies provided by AXA Tech internally Work with Partnership Office in the provision of vendor provided solutions to existing and new clients Responsible for project delivery (in conjunction with Programme Managers, Architects and Tech Specialists and assigned technical resource) Work with Global Domain to ensure strategy is adhered to

Remuneration

The salary band for this role is from 36,600 to 58,600
