Coordinator Required - Weekends

Based in Folkestone

Saga Homecare is a leading provider of domiciliary care and require an out of hours Coordinator to join our team based in Folkestone.

The purpose of the role is to deal with out of hours calls outside of our branch opening hours as a support function to carers, ensuring all visits are met and both carers and customers are safe.

Hours are variable from 8.75 hours to 17.5 hours per week

We are looking for Coordinators to work weekends across a rotational shift pattern across 6.00 - 24.00.

The primary tasks of the role are:

Manage Customer SchedulingTo provide our customers with exemplary service by dealing with all calls sympathetically, caringly, efficiently, accurately and promptly.To develop and maintain a thorough understanding of all policies and proceduresTo maintain client confidentiality at all timesTo allocate customer to appropriate carersEnsure that location and mileage is fully utilised, optimising efficiency.Manage changes to customers planned visits

Maintain Relationship And Affective Communication With All Branches

Effective communication to all parties on a continuous basis.Relevant carer and customer issues escalated to Team Leader as necessary.Ensure Team Leader is aware of any service issues.Ensure Team Leader is aware of the Resource Levels

Managing Staff Plan And Call Volumes

Identify system-related problems and advise relevant parties immediatelyAim to achieve Calls answered target of: 97Keep system recordsup to date and accurate, ensuring correct invoicing and payroll

Constantly Review Best Practice

Continually suggest key improvements to current practice.Monitoring Of Systems To Identify Performance And Any ProblemsEMS, and Staff Plan monitored throughout the day.

Ongoing customer visit allocations with all customers allocatedMaintain a supported working environment for carersAll customer visits to be held accurately in relation to changes madeAim to achieve a targeted Call Answer RateProviding an emergency point of contact for carers and customers.
