The Role


The Advertising Operations Specialist is responsible for managing all aspects of the ad operations process for international ad campaigns on Bloomberg.com and BusinessWeek.com. This includes ad trafficking, optimization, reporting, and customer service. The position is based in London and reports to the head of ad trafficking for Bloomberg.com. The candidate will work closely with the New York based ad operations team.

The ideal candidate will understand Bloomberg LP advertiser's goals a nd manage ads across the network to maximize revenue and advertiser performance. This role requires a strong understanding of ad serving technologies, trends, advertiser and media business models and sales/marketing principals.

Qualifications
- Experience using publisher ad serving technologies such as DFP, OAS, OpenAds, Atlas, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with HTML, Flash and rich media is required
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and analytical
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- A clear understanding of interactive advertising industry

Core Responsibilities:
- Traffic and maintain display ad campaigns on Bloomberg.com and BusinessWeek.com, ensuring that deal terms are met including delivery rates, start and end date, reporting requirements, etc.
- Work with various internal departments and 3rd party vendors to facilitate the implementation of integrated campaign eleme nts.
- Maintain and communicate technical specs to sales, clients and agencies.
- Secure and test campaign creative for spec compliance.
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly campaign performance to ensure full delivery and maximize creative performance.
- Troubleshoot operational campaign issues with both internal and external parties.
-Provide insight and analysis into inventory availability across Bloomberg LP properties to assist Sales in achieving a maximum sell through rate.
- Provide excellent customer service for clients and agencies.
- Keep on top of industry trends in online advertising and ad operations
