New position with one of the world's leading market makers is looking for a extremely technical data operations specialist.

The role is a core part of the revenue generating technology stack and you will be working on high performance proprietary trading systems. Part of the role is to work on the data capture systems which store very large volumes of data.

Your responsibilities will include developing tools which monitor the health of the data systems and architecture and delivery of systems which will have to cope with adding terabytes of data per day to already large database.

The role isnt just maintenance of the existing data infrastr ucture but also ensuring that systems keep up with more general changes to the business and the demands they entail. You will have expert SQL knowledge and experience on working with extremely large (multi-terabyte) databases.

It is likely that you currently work as a technical guru either in a team lead capacity or as the go-to technical expert.
