As a Graduate Production Supervisor, reporting to a Production Manager,you will be responsible for supervising a production department which involves:

Organizing, coordinating and implementing production plan ning. Manage departmental labour performanceMaximising efficiency and optimising material usageInvestigating production/engineering problems and proposing/implementing corrective actions Analyzing production and implementing improvements. Project management

To succeed as a Graduate production Supervisor you must be educated to, or be working towards a degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Material Engineering or Manufacturing a similar discipline.

With your excellent communication and problem solving skills, you will also need to demonstrate leadership qualities.You will also need to be able to work on several actions simultaneously, whilst working to tight deadlines. You should also have a creative approach, first class team work skills, and the ability to write clear and accurate reports.
