Working in such a fast-moving environment, our support services need to be as dynamic as the betting markets themselves.
We are currently looking for a Head of Service Transition to drive a step change in William Hill capability and to deliver change, increasing the frequency and overall volume of change across William Hill globally into multiple 24/7 operational environments ensuring that all operational business and technical requirements are understood and delivered against agreed processes and SLAs.
This senior management role requires extensive leadership and management capability, taking ownership for business, supplier and internal technology relationships in regard to change
Throughput of change globally (both hardware and software) into the services operations teams
Provide a single consolidated view of all assets, both hardware and software globally across the WH business
Perception and f eedback from dev and ops teams
Optimised employee engagement scores within function and wider Business Systems team
Delivery of agreed SLAs and the management of risks
Essential criteria:
At least 5 years experience in the transition of products, business process operations and/or IT Service Management into live operations.
Significant experience in a similar role leading a Service Transition Team, ideally within a betting and gaming environment, but an ecommerce environment is essential.
Demonstrates a deep understanding of service transition processes and interfaces to other service management processes and project delivery
A working knowledge of devops and continuous deployment capabilities
An excellent understanding of project management, the development cycle and testing methodologies
Proven track record in creating a high performing team that is customer focused and aligned to the long t erm business requirements
Extremely confident in operating in an environment of change
Strategic focus on long term aims and objectives while dealing tactically with operational issues
Professional management skills including communication and networking skills to establish relationships within the company and with 3rd Parties
