I am recruiting on behalf of a new soho-based company providing a new service combining premium experiences with online live shopping. They offer affluent consumers exclusive access to a handpicked selection of fine dining reservations, shopping & cultural events, sophisticated spas and lifestyle services of only the best in town. These are memorable experiences, limited in time and quantity.

Job Description:
I am looking for junior/senior Ruby developers. In this role you will scale our platform and build beautiful consumer web applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work within a small but collaborative team with a focus on user engaging applications
2. Support critical market success requirements in terms of high quality production, performance and scalability
3. Produce elegant code in short sprints
4. Iterative, test driven development including continuous integration


Candidate Requirements:
1. One or more years developing in Ruby on Rails preferred
2. Fluent in web application development and other lang uages/frameworks desirable: PHP, HTML, Javascript, jQuery, CSS, SQL, REST, Facebook APIs
3. Expertise in the entire software development lifecycle
4. Front end experience not required but preferred
5. Experience with multiple web, mobile and desktop clients a plus
6. Interest in open source technology
7. BS or MS in Computer Science
