As Senior Consultant in the IHS Regulatory Consulting group, you will apply your experience, knowledge, insight and analysis to create sustainable, profitable services. Nurturing relationships with key industry contacts, you will secure and deliver consulting engagements, playing an integral role in every aspect of the client relationship advising, marketing, product development, client support, billing and collection.

Interfacing with clients as necessary, you should be capable of summarising project information for clear presentati on of results and conclusions. You will pursue and develop added value analytical approaches, develop project proposals, prepare written reports or presentations and support and expand engagements into larger strategic advisory roles. This challenging and varied role will include the development and maintenance of compliance management systems for energy sector clients, collation of legislation and standards, management of the translation process, legal analysis and identification of requirements and regulatory system maintenance, training and support.

Benchmarking best practice and initiating change, drafting legislation and codes of practice, you will be deeply involved in consulting projects including change management, training, E&P contracts and legislative implementation. You will also help to develop the Regulatory Practice business. You may be required to direct analysis and reports from other HIS service groups or to complete analysis and reports base d on the work of other consultants. Able to manipulate databases or extract information, you must maintain a general knowledge of the regulatory environment and a detailed working knowledge of our regulatory databases and tools.

Your BSc in Law, LLM, should be supported by substantial industry experience. Comfortable interfacing at all levels, you will utilise the resources and knowledge base available in a team approach. Travelling both nationally and internationally, you will interact with IHS consultants throughout the world. Ideally multilingual, you should have excellent oral and written communication and strong analytical and organisational skills.
