Reporting directly to the Area Trade Counter Manager, Arco is looking to appoint a Trade Counter Manager to coordinate all retail operations and sales activities at the Avonmouth branch. The m anager will organise, supervise and direct the Trade Counter Staff and is required to deliver sales, margin and Net profitability plans in line with financial targets. The Trade Counter Manager will develop and ensure excellent customer service is promoted within the branch, and will establish strong relationships with key Trade Counter Vendors. Accountability of the role also includes the merchandising of the store, Health & Safety, annual stock-check and audit.
Ideal candidates will have extensive retail or trade experience and will be a customer service expert, possessing strong selling and merchandising skills. People management skills are vital, as the role requires strong leadership, influencing and decision-making expertise, and the ability to coach and motivate employees. Within the organisation, a commercial outlook and strong communications skills must be used to foster successful relationships.
