One of the worlds leading HFT firms is seeking a strong C++ developer to work directly with quant traders on a high frequency trading desk focused on trading a wide variety of instruments across exchanges globally. This role provides the rare opportunity to move into a dynamic young group in a prestigious high frequency shop where you will be exposed to cutting edge development methodologies, working closely with traders and quants in a fast paced and exciting environment. Potential upside is huge as the profits generated by the group have been very high and developers are seen as an integral part of revenue generation.

Ideal candidates will have a strong aca demic background and a between 0 and 6 years of commercial development experience, ideally within high frequency trading, or other high-throughput, low latency, real-time systems:

Expert C++, STL.Singlethreaded development.Low-level systems programming in C / C++TCP / IP (and other low-level)high frequency system dev experiencequantitative abilitystrong communication skillsappetite to learn

Although previous experience within the finance sector is not necessary it is preferred. However if you feel you have expert C++ knowledge in mission critical systems perhaps from a telco, gaming or defence company please do get in touch.
