We are currently seeking to recruit a Field Store Area Team Leader to cover the London South East Area with a base of Tottenham. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 5 years experience supervising a multi disciplinary team within warehousing or distribution. They will be accountable for the direction and control of a fast paced environment ensuring that all KPIs are met and where Customer Service is second nature.

Reporting to the Regional Field Store Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals with enthusiasm and drive for delivering excellent customer service.


Job Description


Key responsibilities in this role are as follows:

Co-ordinate the activities between a number of Field stores in a local geography, in addition to on site Team Leader responsibilities at the base site
All aspects of staff supervision including holiday planning and appropriate cover, monitoring and follow-up activities on sickness and occasional recruitment whilst managing performance
Manage the day to day relationship with the customer when on site, in particular to address and provide feedback on queries and general service matters
Collation of KPI data from all sites responsible to you, reporting upwards to the Regional Field Store Manager on a regular and ad-hoc basis as required



Requirements to Candidates

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes:

The ability to work autonomously and own your own initiative whilst continuing to drive high performance standards
An organised approach to a busy work schedule with flexibility to cover a number of locations
Previous expe rience working with Red Prairie or other warehouse management systems is an advantage
Previous experience in a Team Leader or similar role is advantageous as is a background in a similar function within a logistics or retail background
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers and build strong working relationships
Conscientious in their responsibilities for the general cleanliness and upkeep of the field stores
