Key duties and responsibilities include:
MIS reporting on actuals vs budget and forecast, including detailed monthly reports per Asset Class and detailed reviews with the Global Head of each area
Perform detailed analysis on actual costs for certain cost areas
Manage the bi-monthly forecast process. Ensure the input into BPS forecasting system correctly reflects the costs and headcount of FICC Operations.
Produce detailed monthly Overtime reporting with detailed analysis highlighting high or unusual trends in cost.
Manage Consultant information including headcount, invoices, accruals, reporting and approval from Sourcing to engage new contracts.
Prepare data monthly on past due expenses on corporate cards, Mandatory Block Leave and Mandatory Training.
Input into Cost Transparency initiatives to enhance reporting to the Front Office.
Work with Market Data Services (MDS) team to ensure correct usage of MDS services and services closed down or share where applicable to save costs.
Maintain and promote Best Practice documentation for FICC Operations and Process documentation for the FICC COO Finance and Headcount team.
Ad-hoc analysis of financial data, costs and reports.
Skills and Experience:
Budget, forecast and cost control experience in an international investment bank/major consulting firm within financial services/similar organisationExperience of tracking and managing headcount in a large organisationPrevious COO experience within Investment Banking industryExp erience in dealing with senior managementHolds an accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA or equivalent)Good Excel skills including pivots, formatting and formulasNumerate, able to work with spreadsheets and perform financial analysisAbility to create new reports based on business requirementsHow to Apply
