Technical Architect - Senior VP - Investment Bank

Market leading Investment Bank seeking Senior Lead Technical Architect to join their Collateral Margin and Risk IT team. You will play a central role in an aggressive technology build out which aims to provide the necessary front to back solutions for the Collateral Optimization Unit. The successful candidate's role would be to originate and develop technical architecture overall for a single collateral risk and margin platform to replace, over time, six monolithic applications. The architecture is based on an event driven SOA and while this is primarily a hands-off role, the ability to review design to a code level is required. This is a high level role and candidates will be expected to own and manage the communication of the architecture globally across Collateral Management and Risk. Candidates must have experience as a technical architect in large scale transformation programmes and large corporate IT systems as well as knowledge & experience of mixed architecture styles. In addition it is imperative that candidates come from a .Net / C background with experience of WPF / WCF experience highly sought after.
