Purpose of the role:

To provide support to the Finance Systems and Reporting Manager in fulfilling their duties, in supporting the Financial Systems and Reporting teams in producing project specifications and completion of these projects ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget and any deviancies or issues are highlighted as quickly as possible.

Job Description:

Support the Finance Systems and Reporting Manager in producing feasible project plans and associated timelines.

Support and help manage the Finance Systems and Reporting Resource on a day to day basis (No direct line management) to ensure the resources are deployed in an effective and efficient manner to deliver the projects as per the project plan

Identify and escalate ideas and avenues for improving the day to day run of the teams.

In the absence of the Finance Systems and Reporting Manager support the Senior Management Information Analyst and Finance Systems Analyst in determining the best course of action in resolving issues when conflicts in interest occur

Work Closely with the Management Information Technical Analyst to ensure that the necessary reporting environments are available, documented and use efficiently across the business.

Understand the relationships, data feeds and limitations of the interfaces between the numerous applications that are used in the day to day running of the clients business.

Liaise and Negotiate with key client stakeholders to ensure that the project benefits are understood, documented and realised.

Experience:

Accounting Qualification of CIMA / ACCA

Good working knowledge of Data Flows and Structures is Essential

Proficient in MS excel and word, Access would also be a preference but not essential

Good communication skills able to communicate at all levels

Basic to Advanced SQL skills
