What will the role involve?

The GCM GBS-France Programme has an immediate need to hire a permanent Programme Manager to lead the design and delivery of a Target Operating Model. The Programme scope includes the delivery of the BarCorp GBS/Core Bank Architecture into the BarCorp France business, replacing their current use of the RBB DDA and Payments infrastructure and associated supporting business processes. You will manage key stakeholders from BarCorp and BarCap (including internationally) through the change lifecycle from mobilisation through to implementation (this will include hands-on project management through key stages of requirements gathering, TOM design, process development and training and roll-out. You will manage the analysis of the current GBS-Germany Operating Model and identify the necessary changes to ensure definition on a TOM capable of supporting the BarCorp France business. You will develop a clear project plan and manage tasks against plan, reporting any variances to key stakeholders and allocating roles and responsibilities for delivery. You will manage the project with clear focus on stakeholder engagement and communications at each stage including running project working groups and other stakeholder communications and briefing sessions. You will work with technology partners to changes to the Core Banking infrastructure are accounted for in the supporting TOM. You will formulate and present recommendations based on analysis in order to influence the decisions of the project sponsors and project Steering Committee. You will represent the workstream at weekly sponsor update meetings and regular team meetings within the GBS-France team and to report key risks and issues impeding delivery at these meetings. Based in the UK, with some international travel required to France. Hire will beDirector/VP - depending upon experience

What will you need?

You will be Educated to a minimum of degree level, with 2.1 degree from leading university. You will have strong technical skills and knowledge - knowledge of Target Operating Model developme nt and Operation Procedure Design. You will have a demonstrable track record of successful delivery of one or more business change projects with complex business requirements and/or challenging deadlines. You will have a minimum of 5 years experience as a project manager, working in a change function within a large organisation or consulting environment. You will have experience of working on change projects across IB and Corporate Banking areas of a large financial services organisation and experience of working internationally with a Post-graduate relevant qualification e.g. CIMA, MBA.
