TEACHER OF ENGLISH JOB AT DOVER CHRIST CHURCH ACADEMY, DOVER (TWO POSTS AVAILABLE) FIXED TERM COVER FOR UP TO A YEAR

Are you a specialist English teacher looking for a teaching job in the Dover area? Hays Education are currently working in partnership with Dover Christ Church Academy to recruit two secondary English teachers for two, one year contract posts starting September 2012 (maternity cover).

The Dover Christ Church Academy was established in September 2010 in order to radically improve outcomes for young people in the Dover area. In the first year of operation levels of student achievement increased significantly and through partnerships with Canterbury Christ Church University and recognised leading edge practitioners it is on track to become one of the most improved Academies nationally.

In November, 2011 the section 8 monitoring visit confirmed that the Academy has moved across an OfSTED grade boundary in less than 18 months and was a hugely successful and rewarding experience for both the students and staff.

The Dover Christ Church Academy are looking for a specialist English Teacher who can display:
experience of teaching KS3 and KS4 GCSE English an innovative and creative teaching style a commitment to the challenge of academic standards a willingness to form part of a successful and enthusiastic team a proven track record in successful behaviour and classroom management.
