As a result of continued expansion we are looking to recruit a qualified or suitably experienced individual to join our Residential Conveyancing department.

The Team Lawyer is responsible for providing technical legal support to the legal teams within residential conveyancing.The Team Lawyers main function is to offer legal support, advice and assistance to these teams on complex cases.

This position would suit a solicitor, legal executive or licensed conveyancer who is experienced in residential conveyancing. Successful candidates will be able to make sound commercial decisions and have an excellent level of IT literacy. Experience in case manager and a volume-processing environment is desirable but not essential.

Successful candidates will need to be team players with a can do attitude and they will be motivated to achieve objectives in tight deadlines and deliver practical solutions.

BACKGROUND:

The Team Lawyer is responsible for providing technical legal support to the legal teams within residential conveyancing.The Team Lawyers main function is to offer legal support, advice and assistance to these terms on complex cases.

DUTIES:

To provide technical support to an exchange team, which will include leasehold title checking.

To work closely and plan accordingly with the Exchange Team Leader to ensure service remains first-class and to facilitate the overall smooth running of the team.

To provide positive and constructive feedback to Team Leaders and Exchange Team Players as appropriate.

To champion excellence in transaction management.

To identify process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

Comprehension experience of residential conveyancing.

You will be signed off to handle registered freehold and leasehold transactions in their entirety.

Experience and/or understanding of unregistered, newbuild and shared ownership transactions highly desirable.

The role would particularly suit an individual who is used to dealing with volume processing of cases.

A minimum of 24 months experience in residential conveyancing is required.
