Job Title: Business Development Executive, Health and Social Care

Reports to: Head of Business Development, TBG Learning.

(As a Key Business Partner within health and social care, the post holder will report on service development opportunities and outcomes to the Head of Health and Social Care, Momentum Care)

Direct Reports: None, but will work as part of the Rehab Group Business Development Team, with a specific focus on Health and Social Care.

Location: Flexible but reporting into TBG Learning Head Office - Birmingham City Centre

You will beresponsible for contributing to and delivering the strategic growth of Health and Social care business by assisting and supporting the Head of Health and Social Care, Momentum Care, the Head of Business Development, TBG and other colleagues across Rehab Group as required, in the identification of funding and growth and development opportunities, researching markets, the writing of bids/ tenders, and contributing as appropriate to the bidding/ tendering process.

Key Accountabilities:

Responsibility for achieving an annual business development target based on the overall target set for the Health and Social Care business in the UK.On an ongoing basis identify and assess financially viable new funding and development opportunities Assist the Head of Health and Social Care, Momentum Care and other colleagues in interfacing with partners, funders and stakeholders to foster relationships that will ultimately deliver growth opportunities, within the Health and Social Care sector.Provide relevant support on the management of the bid/tender process as directed.Gather and act on sector relevant intelligence.Work with other business development and operations managers and staff in the UK to promote Momentum Care , Chaseley Trust and Rehab Group as a whole, as an industry leader to maximise business development opportunities. Liaise regularly with relevant operational management teams to determine targeted responses to defined growth strategy.Plan and devise bid/tender submissions, including service delivery plans, in conjunction with operational colleagues.Monitoring of submitted bids and outcome success rates.Review of unsuccessful bid processes, in conjunction with Head of Business DevelopmentWhere appropriate attend supplier tender briefing sessions and disseminate information to appropriate stakeholders as appropriateWork with partner organisations to collate information and data for bids as and when requiredAuthor bids / tender responses to ensure compliance to appropriate guidelines

You will need to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Experience and knowledge of the health and social care provision in the UK. An understanding of central government policy in the provision of health and social care.An understanding of registration and inspection standards and regulatory obligations in the health and social care sector.Experience of the procurement of health & social care services, preferably across UK jurisdictions.A demonstrated aptitude for sales and business development experience and be motivated by the challenge of growing revenue.Sound financial ability and commercial astuteness.Excellent written and verbal communications and the ability to convince through writing.Good relationship management capabilities.A commitment to, and passion for, excellence.Be educated to degree level or equivalent
