Description of the job
Act as A350 Finite Element Models Analyst for the Wing Integrated Team ensuring that all the information on the A350 FE Models is correct and complete and that the FE Analysis Methodology is applied in accordance with internal AIRBUS specifications.

Tasks
Support to compiling the qualification reports of global & detailed FEMs.
Support FE Models generation and successive validation.
Perform NASTRAN runs for the required Check Analysis.
Formally present results as required.
Compile reports and presentations.
Support document sign-off/validation process.
Give a specialist support to customers sorting out any issue related with FE Analysis.
Advise customers on all aspects of the FE manual AM2036.
Contribute to creating and compiling Engineering documents linked to this procedure.
Weekly reporting to FEA Management Engineering Team Leader.
Support the management of the FEM Register acting as focal point for customers requests.
Take over the responsibility for maintaining up to date any information related with A350 in the FEM Register establishing and applying, if required, lines of action to recover any data-lack.

Your skills
Technical Skills:
Proven experience working in the field aeronautical engineering being involved in aircraft primary structures analysis using Finite Element Methodology tools.
Good knowledge of FE Analysis & Pre/Post Processing tools (MSC NASTRAN, Patran).
High degree of flexibility in relation to working practices and travel.
Good understanding of aircraft metallic and composites stress analysis.
High regard for both internal and external customers.
Good communication skills and a pro-active approach to problem solving
Good interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of office automation software.
English: Negotiation level.

Qualification:
Engineering degree or equivalent.

Work Experience
Confirmed (3+ to 5 years of experience)
