Head of IT required by our client, a leading charity dedicated to working in the field of children and young people.

The client is now looking to recruit a highly enthusiastic Head of IT to work with the Board of Management, The Chief Executive Officer and stakeholders to ensure that staff, service users and a network of volunteers across the UK have all the ICT services and support they need to deliver core charity services effectively.

As Head of IT you will take ownership of the entire ICT operation, looking at opportunities to apply Citrix / virtualised technology to connect remote users and volunteers to the IT environment. You will manage as Head of IT an internal IT team of support staff, and also drive projects as part of a technology refresh programme for the charity.

Whilst our client is a not for profit organisation, the organisation is still highly-driven and targeted in terms of delivering services and as such you will need to be able to work under pressure, prioritising IT departmental objectives and be adept enough as Head of IT to interpret organisational needs into core IT objectives.
