A successful engineering firm specialising in subsea engineering for the oil and gas and renewables industries. Are looking for a Lead Subsea Pipeline Integrity Engineer Established in 1988 it enjoys a global reputation for both its engineering and its professional training.

Field of work
we engage at all phases of the life of subsea systems, from design through construction to operations and decommissioning, covering:
Subsea pipelines, landfalls and jetties
Risers, flexibles and umbilicals
Subsea trees, controls, remote intervention and manifolds
Subsea structures
We also assists in pipeline integrity management for several North Sea operators including:
Inspection and maintenance routines
Pigging procedures, verification and project management
Technical integrity assessments
Design, fabrication and installation dossiers
Anomaly and defect assessment
Correspondence with regulatory bodies
We are looking for a Lead Engineer with 8+ years experience of subsea pipeline design/construction/operations. We are looking for a long term addition to our team on a permanent basis. Skills in related areas such as risers, subsea systems, structures, or umbilicals and controls would be an advantage. This is a technical, hands-on role with an element of project engineering/management. We have a stream of challenging projects ranging from product development and deepwater analysis to trunk line design.
Engineering work
The candidate will need to be capable of the following engineering work:
Doing and reviewing calculations and analysis
Writing and checking reports and specifications
Establishing base data and methodologies
Checking drawings
Consulting and problem solving
Carrying out risk assessments
Making effective presentations to the clients
Inputting to and review of course presentations
Management of own time, project teams and customer interface

The candidate will additionally offer one or more of the following elements of specialisation:
Analysis using software such as ABAQUS, Olga, or Orcaflex
Presenting courses
Sales and customer relationship management
Skills
Essential
Write and speak English clearly and fluently
Familiar with MathCad
UK Driving licence
Qualifications
Essential
8+ years experience in subsea pipeline engineering
2.1 degree in engineering, aeronautics, naval architecture, maths, or physics
Higher or first class degree
Chartered engineer, member or fellow of an engineering institution
Right to work in UK
Remuneration
Basic salary 70,000 - 90,000 gross per annum
Basic 34 days leave including bank holidays plus further days for 3+ years service
Earn up to 20 of salary in performance-related bonus - 10 paid in Dec, 10 paid in June
Up to 6 of basic salary as pension contribution (minimum of 3)
