Our client specialises in the design and development of gifts, stationery and games and is the leader in their field. They are boasts an impressive client list including the likes of Selfridges, Heals, Conran, John Lewis, Harrods, Paperchase, Liberty, Waitrose and Sainsburys.

Due to company expansion they have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Marketing and Brand Manager to join their growing team to drive the companys brand forward within the retail environment, online and direct to consumers. You will be creative, a great writer and will have experience in online marketing, trade marketing, social media, e-marketing and brand management.

A typical day in this varied marketing position will include:

Driving the companys brand forward within the retail environment, online and direct to consumersIdentifying all possible marketing angles of new and existing ranges and communicating these stories through photography and product copyManaging the PR strategy, ensuring opportunities to create brand awareness are maximisedFull management of the in-store promotional material and displaysWriting product copy for the companys websiteDeveloping and implementing the online marketing strategy which will involve all aspects of social mediaManaging the regular e-newsletter campaigns from idea generation to completionManaging the mock-up process of new ranges for samplesHelping with tradeshow planning and executionLiaising and linking the Product Development Team to the Sales Team, keeping in mind the companys brand objectives

Key skills required for this Marketing Manager position include:

5+ years marketing experienceGood all-around marketing experienceThe ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlinesYou will have strong, relevant experience but above all the attitude and enthusiasm to be a success! Creativity and imaginationExcellent writing skills, with the ability to express a message clearly and persuasivelyExcellent communication and team working skills
