Our client, an innovator and leader in their chosen field, is currently in the market for an outstanding, passionate, driven and collaborative Sales & Marketing Director.

Designing and developing industry-leading delivery solutions for a blue- chip, customer base and dominant in the home delivery sector, our client is committed to innovation and continued growth as part of a pioneering and highly successful international group. With hugely impressive growth over recent times, the company wishes to appoint an accomplished and experienced sales and marketing professional who, through the management and motivation of a team across sales, account management, marketing and customer services, will ensure the retention of existing clients, continued growth and development of this strategically important business.

You will be responsible for creating and delivering B2C commercial strategy for your company and driving sales growth through both new and existing clients. In addition, you will play a fundamental role in maintaining effective client relationships, directing the marketing and customer services functions to create value-added solutions to clients and their customers.

Your specific responsibilities are to:

Maintain and develop long-term strategic relationships with clientsDevelop industry knowledge to be able to talk confidently to clients and other businesses across the sectorIdentify opportunities that allow our client to develop significant new and incremental business with suitable organisations Deliver profitable business for our client in line with their 3-year plan and strategic objectivesUnderstand business drivers and consumer demands for early contract renewals and extensionsTogether with your operations colleagues ensure a world-class service to existing clientsClosely manage client relationships ensuring the retention of our clients service whilst protecting and enhancing the margins
