We are seeking a Support Worker to join Farm Lodge in Rainham.

About us

The location

Farm Lodge is an all Male step down hospital which specialises on intensive rehabilitation and community integration. The focus at Farm Lodge is on social inclusion and improving daily living skills, through nursing, psychiatric, psychological and therapeutic input.Individuals work with the MDT to create and work through a personalised care plan, which takes into account their specific needs and strengths.

The role

Successful candidates will play an active role in the day to day care and support for the client group, implementing care plans, creating a homely atmosphere, supporting activities and trips for patients, and assisting with supporting patients with general life-skills.

What youll need

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our Organisation and make a significant contribution to the work that we do. Individuals should ideally have previous experience within a similar setting and possess a NVQ Level 2 in Care. However, we are also keen to hear from people who feel that they can genuinely offer support and guidance through the life skills they have gained.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they are a strong team play, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a positive role model for our client-group. In addition, a full and clean current driving license would be ideal, with a willingness to drive company vehicles. This role can be physically demanding, therefore candidates should be able to demonstrate a good level of fitness and be in general good health.
