Technology Infrastructure Services (TIS) is responsible for managing all infrastructure components and supporting business delivery and TIS projects. TIS also provides state-of-the-art technology and processes to the investment management teams so they can execute critical investments decisions.
In order to support the companys objective to grow internal talent, TIS has developed a scheme in which individuals work towards gaining essential skills and experience whilst undertaking appropriate formal certification training. TIS is therefore looking for two motivated individuals to join the scheme.
Entry requirements:-
2 A Levels (grades A to C) essential, including 5 GCSEs (A* to C grade, Maths and English a must)
Basic understanding of Windows computing including Windows 7, Microsoft Office Suite, administration and networking.
Some understanding of IT Service Management practices (incident, problem and change management)
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Good organisational skills and an ability to prioritise workload
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
A high level of commitment to customer service.
Effective problem solving skills.

Over the first 12 months you will receive block release training to achieve the following qualifications:
Microsoft Certification Technical Specialist (MCTS)
CompTIA A+ and Network+
City & Guilds Certificate in IT Systems and Principles
City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in IT Professional Competence
Other information:-
The scheme runs for 3 years and the successful candidates will be required to complete certified training courses.
Practical experience will be gained in FIL offices working with other technology employees in a Windows-based environment
