Tour Operator - Aviation Executive
The primary purpose of this role is to price and manage the scheduled, low cost and rail transport programmes ensuring maximization of yield and load factors across The Group.
Airline Contracts
Load and maintain accurate flight costs in Speake.Produce and compare fare analysis spreadsheets.Distribute contracts to internal departments.Capacity Management
Identify problem dates/lack of availability and flag to Aviation manager.Implement strategic stop sales as directed to achieve maximum load factors.Ensure sufficient flight seat to bed/coach seat ratio is maintained and action appropriately where necessary.Tactical Fares
Create, load and monitor tactical offers, particularly for late sales.Flight Planning
Research and prepare flight planning sheets.Supply flight codes for brochure panels.Administrate flight codes as required.Knowledge:
Strong commercial acumenWorking knowledge of current airline policies (ideally)Skills:
Numerical and analytical skills and proficient in Microsoft Excel, email and the internet.Competent in Amadeus (or similar GDS)Excellent attention to detail, and communication skillsExceptional organizational skills with the ability to work independently and within a teamExperience/Education:
At least 2 years travel experience, ideally within a Tour OperatorCompetencies:
