TITLE: ASSET PLANNING & INVESTMENT MANAGER

Salary:Grade J c.45,000 & up to 15 bonus

12 month contract to cover maternity leave

C2C are responsible for the water and wastewater assets on some 1,500 sites that stretch across the whole of Eastern England. Able to draw on the vast experience of our parent companies Severn Trent and Costain we have built up an enviable track record delivering the highest possible standards of customer service from the Scottish Borders to the Kent coast.

As Asset Planning & Investment Manager you will be responsible for:

The development and implementation of C2Cs life cycle investment programme to a value of 7m per annum including regular reporting on progress to internal stakeholders and external clients Leading a team of 5 first line managersOptimal operation of water and waste water assets including regulatory and stakeholder liaisonEnsuring data is owned as a company asset

You will also be required to manage the successful delivery of several specific tasks and company initiatives during the 2012-13 financial year. These include the annual review of the C2C lifecycle investment programme, development of the 2013-14 lifecycle investment programme, development and implementation of the asset records strategy for GIS and Hansen our business management system - and the review of energy consumption at 5 major sites and the identification of subsequent energy reduction strategies.

Role Requirements

Ideally, youll need to be a Chartered Civil Engineer, with a minimum of 10 years experience in the water industry, both clean and wastewater, an experienced team leader, and have excellent project management skills.

A full, clean driving licence is essential and due to the nature of C2Cs work, all candidates will be subject to full security vetting.
