We are currently seeking a dedicated experienced Care Manager to manage a small home based in Leicester. You must have a history of managing successful care provisions.
Must have NVQ level 4 in Health and social care or equivalent with previous experience.
Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for residents and their visitors.
To monitor standards of care delivered by care staff by observation and direct involvement, ensuring that all residents receive quality medical and personal care.
To prepare staff duty Rota and ensure staff levels at all times.
To implement staff appraisal regularly.
To discuss with staff tasks regarding safe systems of work, fire safety, evacuation procedures, and induction.
To promote the marketing of the home to prospective residents, relatives and health care professionals.
To maintain effective assessment and review procedures.
To treat residents and their visitors with respect and ensure therapeutic communication.
Must have excellent communication and planning/organisational skills.
Must have good negotiating skills, as well as IT skills and a current driving licence is preferable.
To be successful youll need to be dedicated, able to manage change and deal with pressure.
