We are seeking an ambitious, systems administration minded IT Professional Apprentice, with a real drive to go places. Your expertise is needed to support a fast growing IT company in the Coventry and Solihull areas providing real advancement opportunities for the right candidate.

With a calm and confident nature, you will have demonstrable experience or education in networks and computer systems. Furthermore, you will have to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. A friendly and confident nature is a must, as your role may involve direct contact with brand new clients.

You will be highly computer literate and comfortable in using a variety of problem-solving techniques, while an understanding of servers and networks is also useful.

Additionally, you should have a proactive, optimistic, can do attitude. You will be highly organised and a team player, with the ability to forge strong internal and external working relationships.

Training to be Provided:

Level 3 Diploma IT Professional

Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Systems and Principles

Level 2 key skills (Literacy and Numeracy)

CISCO IT Essentials

MTA (Microsoft Technical Associate certification)

For the candidates with the greatest ability and aspirations CompTIA A+ and MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) may also be offered.

Essential:

Maths and English at GCSE grade A-C (or equivalent). ICT an advantage.

Skills Required

Good technical awareness and demonstrable all round computer skills, either self taught or through certification. You must be keen to learn and to fit into the working environment.
